Mindfulness Coaching & small group facilitation

Private coaching is available for teachers, parents, and counselors, and also for children, and teens. We are also able to bring mindfulness into your existing group. While working with parents and teachers is our specialty, we are ready to help support mindfulness in any environment.

By learning and practicing mindfulness yourself, you’ll be better equipped to create a mindful classroom, home, or workplace.

Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes and include creating a plan to meet your unique needs that may include mindfulness and meditation practice, mindful movement, self-care strategies, inquiry or journaling practices, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens (& Teachers!), or elements from the Mindful Schools curriculum.

We are happy to meet with you, or your small group, and discover how mindfulness, self-care, or stress-reduction strategies might be a support. Consultations and ongoing support can take place in person, in your home or classroom, or by Zoom.

teacher testimonialS:

I have been teaching for 17 years but this is my first in a Title 1 school. I love teaching here but it was a really rough adjustment at first. Students and their families deal with so many obstacles. From the beginning, Chelsea was always there for me. She listened to me vent and gently helped me learn centering and breathing techniques to help me get back on track.

I witness and hear of other teachers and students who echo this sentiment around the work that Chelsea has been doing with mindfulness. Her work is only beginning and we need her to keep the positive growth moving forward!

The mindfulness project has and continues to be one of my student’s favorite calming tools that they are learning to acquire. Many of my students come from homes where trauma seeps into their young souls. Ms. True gives my students and I an opportunity to turn trauma into loving quiet moments that ripple throughout their lives. When Ms. True drifts into our classroom, she spreads her magic in addition to her love.
