Joyful Mind Project is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering collective and individual wellbeing through liberatory, collaborative, and mindfulness-based supports and services.

Our mission is creating an equitable and just society through compassionate action. We do this by working in solidarity with people of all backgrounds to create spaces where health and wholeness can emerge.

We lead with a social justice framework, prioritize opportunities to work alongside people in liberated relationships and to participate in communities where access to resources has been limited by structural oppression and systemic racism.

We work with families, groups, school communities, and individuals throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, supporting wellbeing, building trauma-informed classrooms, and offering services at the intersection of mental health and social, racial, and climate justice.

Since inception we have offered our programs for free, by donation, or on a sliding scale, with no one ever turned away for lack of funds.  Our approach is always strength-based, trauma-informed, and begins from a position of cultural humility.

Your generosity helps us accomplish our mission.  If you are moved to do so, you can even donate now by clicking here.
